Monte Pride Day

Montezuma, March 1, 2019:  Montezuma Community Development and the Montezuma Community School District are pleased to be host the 5th Annual Monte Pride Day on Friday, April 26th.

Monte Pride Day brings together youth, business and public volunteers for a city-wide, community service day.  Students from 6th to 12th grade along with other volunteers undertake projects all around town.  Over 1000 volunteers have participated in Monte Pride Day over the past five years, and more than thirty businesses and organizations have supported the event.  The volunteer hours and business contributions together represent over a $100,000 investment into Montezuma.

Our project list focuses on making a big impact on the appearance of the town.  Students work at the West City Park, Jackson Township & Masonic Cemetery, town square, on the school grounds and at many other locations!
