Montezuma Ambulance is a municipal emergency medical service that provides coverage for the City of Montezuma and surrounding rural area. We cover an area that is almost 200 square miles, responding to the needs of most of the southern half of Poweshiek County. In 2018, the City of Montezuma purchased a new 2019 Ford F450 Ambulance.Montezuma Ambulance is an A level service, staffed by volunteer drivers and EMTs. The service is administered by the City of Montezuma and supported by ambulance revenues as well as property tax dollars from residents of Montezuma and surrounding townships.
