Montezuma Light & Power provides electric service to Montezuma and is governed by a five-person Board of Trustees.  Trustees are appointed by the Mayor for six year terms.  The utility is operated by a staff of four employees. To contact MMLP, please call 641-623-5102 (business & after hours).  Light & Power is also the billing and collection body for all the other city utilities (gas, sewer, water and recycling).  For information on signing up for utility services in Montezuma, please click here.
