The Montezuma Municipal Utility system provides electric, gas, water, sewer and recycling.
All services are conveniently billed and payable under one account.
Utility bills are mailed or emailed by the 8th of each month and are due the 28th.
The preferred method of payment is via ACH debt which can be deducted from your account on the 25th of the month. To enroll in the ACH option, please click here.
To set up an account and begin utility services, please come to the Montezuma Municipal Utility Office at 501 E. Main Street. You will be required to fill out a customer application and supply your photo ID and social security card.
Deposits for each required service is due in full before utilities are provided.
Deposits are as follows:
Electric Services - $150.00
Gas Services - $100.00
Water Services - $75.00
Services may vary at some properties and only those provided require a deposit.
